Does the TV play the game?

No. The TV is a spectator. Everyone plays on their own phone, and the TV shows every board at once, the scores, and who is still in. It moves to the next game when the host starts one.

Do I need an app on the TV?

No. Any web browser on any screen can open the TV link. If the TV has no browser, cast or mirror a laptop, tablet or phone that does.

Can more than one screen watch?

Yes. Open the TV link on as many screens as you like. The lobby shows how many are watching.

Can I watch from somewhere else?

Yes. The TV link works anywhere with a connection, so a friend who cannot make it can still watch the party.

Show the party on your TV

Every group has a TV link. Open it on any screen and it shows every player’s board live, the scores, and who is still in, and it follows the group from game to game.

Your TV link

The link is joinme.games/watch/ followed by your group code. In the lobby, the TV button copies it for you. On a screen where typing is easier, open joinme.games/watch and enter the code there.

The screen never plays: everyone stays on their own phone. It just watches, so it needs no sign-in and no app.

A smart TV with a web browser

Open the browser on the TV (Samsung, LG, Google TV, Fire TV and most others have one).
Go to joinme.games/watch and type your group code.
Leave it there. The screen follows the group from game to game on its own.

Chromecast or Google TV, from a laptop

On the laptop, open the TV link in Chrome. It is joinme.games/watch/ followed by your code; the lobby has a button that copies it.
In Chrome, open the menu, choose Cast, pick the TV, and choose Cast tab.
Keep the laptop awake. Chrome shows exactly that tab on the TV.

Apple TV or an AirPlay TV, from an iPhone, iPad or Mac

Open the TV link in Safari on the device you will mirror from. A spare device is best, since your own phone is your controller.
Open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, and pick the TV.
Turn the device sideways for the widest view.

Any TV with an HDMI cable

Plug a laptop into the TV and pick that input.
Open the TV link in any browser and make it full screen.

No TV at all

A tablet or a second laptop on the table works the same way. Open the TV link on it and prop it up where everyone can see.
