About Knockout Trivia
Knockout Trivia is a trivia game where a wrong answer is an event. Every question is four answers and fifteen seconds, and everyone answers every one. There are no points: being right keeps you safe, and being fast keeps you off the bottom of the ring.
When someone in the ring gets one wrong, there is a 20-second duel at a game drawn at random from the arcade and puzzle games on the site. With nobody on the bench to answer for it, the bottom two of the ring fight and the loser goes to the bench. The bench keeps answering, and when the ring is wrong the fastest right answer on the bench fights the bottom of the ring instead: win that and you take their place.
Three right answers in a row earn a dodge, which only you can see. Lose a duel holding one and you slip the punch, and the other boxer goes down instead. After the last question the final bell rings, redemption stops, and every question ends in a duel until one boxer is left. A boxer alone in the ring at the bell still has to beat the fastest right answer on the bench in one title fight.
How to play
- Everyone answers every question: four answers, 15 seconds, one tap. Right and fast keeps you off the bottom of the ring.
- A wrong answer in the ring means a 20-second duel at a game drawn at random. With nobody on the bench to answer for it, the bottom two of the ring fight and the loser sits down.
- On the bench you keep answering. Be right while the ring is wrong and the fastest of the bench fights the bottom of the ring: win and you take their place.
- Three right answers in a row earn a dodge. Lose a duel holding one and the other boxer goes down instead.
- Before every duel the screen says why each boxer is in it: what they answered, how fast, and what put them in the ring.
- After the last question the final bell rings: every question ends in a duel until one boxer is left. Alone in the ring at the bell? One title fight against the fastest right answer on the bench.

Questions
- How long does a game of Knockout Trivia take?
- There are two questions for every player in the room, then the final bell. A question and its duel take about a minute.
- What happens when I am knocked out?
- You go to the bench and keep playing. You answer every question and build streaks. Get one right while the ring gets one wrong, be the fastest on the bench, and you fight for a place back in the ring.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Press Play and you are in as a guest, with a name picked for you. A guest lasts 24 hours. Sign in with Google or Apple to pick your own name and color and keep them on every device, or to take out a Party Pass. Your real name is never shown.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. Every game runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Open joinme.games and play. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
- How do my friends join?
- Host a room and you get a short game code. Share the code or the invite link. Friends open it on their own phones and they are in the room straight away — nothing to press. The host starts the round for everyone.
- Does it work on iPhone and Android?
- Yes. Any modern phone browser works, and the same game runs on a laptop or a tablet. Everyone in a group can be on different devices.
- Is it free?
- The games on this page are free to play. A Party Pass removes ads for you and everyone you host, and gives you a custom room code and a name of your own.
