About Worm Wars
Worm Wars is a snake game where the other snakes are your friends. Everyone’s worm shares one arena. Eat bugs to grow longer and fatter, and steer with a thumb on either side of the screen.
Bump another worm and you bite a piece off it, sized to you. Keep chasing to eat it down to nothing. Catch a smaller worm by the head and you swallow it whole, but try that on a bigger one and you are the meal.
Charge a lunge to burst forward with a double bite, jumping over your own body. Cover a quarter of the arena to win. Play alone, against bots that stalk and strike, or in a room of friends.
How to play
- Eat bugs to grow longer and fatter. Big bugs take a while to chew; a big worm chews faster.
- Bump another worm to bite a piece off it. Keep chasing and biting to eat it down to nothing.
- Take a smaller worm by the head and you swallow it whole. Try it on a bigger one and you are the meal.
- Charge a lunge to burst forward with a double first bite. A lunge jumps over your own body.
- Cover a quarter of the arena to win. Never bite a sparking worm: its helmet zaps you.
Controls
- Hold the left or right half of the arena to turn that way.
- Tap Lunge to start charging, steer with your free thumb, then tap again to fire.
- Two thumbs: hold one side to turn and hold the other to charge, lift it to fire.
- Keyboard: left and right or A and D turn, space or up charges a lunge, down opens your mouth, P pauses.
Playing with friends
- Sign in and start a group. You get a short game code.
- Share the code or the invite link with your friends.
- Friends open it on their own phones and tap Ready.
- The host presses Play and everyone starts together.

Questions
- Is Worm Wars like Snake?
- It starts there: steer a worm and eat to grow. Then it adds friends in the same arena, biting, swallowing, and a charged lunge. Your own body never blocks you; only the edge stops you.
- Can I play Worm Wars alone?
- Yes. Play solo, or add bots to the group. Hard bots stalk other worms and bite from behind, so they are real opponents.
- How do I win?
- Grow until your worm covers a quarter of the arena, or be the last worm left after everyone else has been eaten.
- Do I need to download anything?
- No. Every game runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. Open joinme.games, sign in, and play. You can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
- How do my friends join?
- Start a group and you get a short game code. Share the code or the invite link. Friends open it on their own phones, tap Ready, and the host starts the round for everyone.
- Does it work on iPhone and Android?
- Yes. Any modern phone browser works, and the same game runs on a laptop or a tablet. Everyone in a group can be on different devices.
- Is it free?
- The games on this page are free to play. A membership removes ads, gives you your own custom room code, and opens the member-only games for you and everyone you host.
